FAQs About Meals on Wheels Volunteering
Interested in learning more about delivering meals to seniors in need across the Red River Valley? We’ve fielded some common questions from volunteers and hope the answers can help you with your own questions!
Volunteers go to a designated location to pick up the meals to be delivered. Every volunteer receives a route with detailed driving and delivery instructions, with an average of 8-12 stops per route. Once the route is finished, volunteers return the cooler to their pick up location. If possible, volunteers are kept on the same route every time they volunteer.
