Valley Senior Services Extends Gratitude to SCHEELS® for Generous Cooler Donation
In a heartwarming gesture of community support, SCHEELS has generously donated 50 brand-new Coleman coolers to Valley Senior Services’ Meals on Wheels program. Coolers are crucial in ensuring hot, nutritious meals reach the doorsteps of seniors in need every day.
Upon learning of Valley Senior Services’ need for cooler replacements, SCHEELS mobilized their resources to identify the perfect match for our requirements. Their generous donation of 50 Coleman coolers will now power the delivery of over 1,400 meals daily, ensuring seniors in the Red River Valley continue to receive a reliable hot meal.
Members of SCHEELS Fargo team also volunteer three routes a week to deliver meals to area seniors. “SCHEELS has been proud to support Meals on Wheels for many years by delivering meals in the Fargo community. When the opportunity came up to help upgrade the coolers, we were excited to lend a hand in finding the right cooler,” according to Nathan Johnson, SCHEELS Communications & Sponsorship Manager.
Last month, Valley Senior Services was chosen by SCHEELS as a recipient of $5,000 in celebration of National Non-Profit Day. This substantial contribution further exemplifies SCHEELS’ heartfelt commitment to supporting vital programs that make a real difference in the lives of local seniors.
Valley Senior Services extends its deepest gratitude to SCHEELS for their steadfast support. “Their generosity and dedication to the Meals on Wheels program has a profound impact on the well-being and quality of life for countless seniors in the community,” said Paul Grindeland, Valley Senior Services Executive Director.
