Providing Services to Seniors throughout the Red River Valley

Valley Senior Services has been providing services to seniors since 1971. Our services help thousands of seniors each year through a variety of different ways: delivering daily hot meals through Meals On Wheels, finding a sense of community and fostering new friendships at local senior centers, getting to and from appointments with transportation services, connecting seniors with supportive resources, and much more.

Due to public health concerns surrounding the potential risk of COVID-19 at public gatherings, we have suspended activities at senior centers, transportation to senior centers, and congregate dining is suspended at meal sites with prepackaged meals made available for pick up. Get all our COVID-19 updates here.

The Seniors We Serve

Valley Senior Services is designed to promote independence and better health for seniors 60 years and older. Our program is funded by the Federal government under the Older Americans Act, State of North Dakota, each of the counties we serve, the City of Fargo, Fargo Park District, area organizations, and private and corporate donations. We invite you to participate in our program and welcome your questions or comments on our services.

All services offered through our programs are available to seniors on a contributory basis. While no set fees are established, donations are accepted to help offset the cost of providing services. You may make a contribution by writing, calling, or clicking the donate button below:
