Providing Services to Seniors throughout the Red River Valley

Valley Senior Services has been providing services to seniors for the last 50 years. Our services help thousands of seniors each year through a variety of different ways: delivering daily hot meals through Meals On Wheels, finding a sense of community and fostering new friendships at local senior centers, getting to and from appointments with transportation services, connecting seniors with supportive resources, and much more.

COVID-19: Meal Sites Reopen

Valley Senior Services is excited to announce meal sites are reopening for community dining on Tuesday, June 1 in accordance with CDC guidelines. Seniors are asked to call the meal site closest to them and sign up at least one day in advance to reserve their space. Masks are highly recommended but not required at meal sites. Learn more and get the full update on our COVID-19 page here.

The Seniors We Serve

Valley Senior Services is designed to promote independence and better health for seniors 60 years and older. Our program is funded by the Federal government under the Older Americans Act, State of North Dakota, each of the counties we serve, the City of Fargo, Fargo Park District, area organizations, and private and corporate donations. We invite you to participate in our program and welcome your questions or comments on our services.

Contributions

All services offered through our programs are available to seniors on a contributory basis. While no set fees are established, donations are accepted to help offset the cost of providing services.

You may make a contribution by donating online at GivingHeartsDay.org , calling our main office at 701-293-1440 or mailing-in your donation (2801 32nd Ave S, P.O. Box 2217, Fargo, ND 58108).
